Part-Time Class A Drivers (Events Division)
Safety Standards
- Comply with DOT, company, and site-specific safety standards.
- Use chocks, blocks, and roll ups for trailer landing, leveling, and stabilization.
- Monitor and safely shut down generators as required.
Job Duties
- Safely operate and tow 33’–53’ cast and production trailers.
- Perform proper trailer landing, leveling, and stabilization.
- Power up, operate, monitor, and safely shut down generators.
- Set up, secure, and break down entry stairs.
- Deploy and retract slide outs, ensuring proper clearance, stabilization, and operational function.
- Conduct basic trailer setup and operational checks.
- Read and monitor water, waste, and fuel levels.
- Complete fuel and water filling as needed.
- Ensure all utility connections are secure and functioning properly.
- Identify, document, and promptly report basic mechanical, electrical, or system issues to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety, compliance, and operational standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A License required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience towing 33’-53’ cast/production trailers.
- Proven knowledge of trailer landing, leveling, and stabilization procedures.
- Hands-on experience with generators, slide-outs, and trailer setup.
- Strong understanding of basic trailer systems and functions.
- Strong communication skills and on-site professionalism.
- Able to navigate smartphone applications and use GPS.
- Able to troubleshoot minor operational issues independently.
- Prior experience supporting film, television, or live production environments.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently move/traverse.
- Ascend/descend steps to enter and exit trailers.
- Must be able to lift/move/carry up to 25-30 pounds.
- Bend, stoop, reach, setup, and breakdown.
