Part-Time Christmas Seasonal Musician

About the role

Provide musical entertainment for guests and may be in character. Promote a fun and comfortable atmosphere for guests. Must be a confident musician who is capable of performing in front of, and engaging audiences.

Responsibilities

• Practices performances to maintain and improve skills.
• Performs music in tune from memory or by following scores.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
• Complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Promote and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Walk for an extended period of time.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Public performance and entertainment.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• Licenses or Certifications: None.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk for an extended period of time.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.

Skills

• Confidence in public performance.
• Ability to perform in front of and engage audiences.
• Proficiency in maintaining and improving musical skills.
• Knowledge of performing music in tune from memory or by following scores.
