Musician I - Part Time

What you'll do

• Attends and actively participates in all scheduled rehearsals and worship services.
• Plays assigned instrument(s) or sings as part of the worship team.
• Learns and prepares weekly setlists provided by the Worship Director or team leader.
• Maintains punctuality and a spirit of cooperation with fellow team members.
• Follows the musical direction of the Worship Leader during services.
• Participates in team devotions and prayer before services.
• Communicates promptly regarding scheduling conflicts or absences.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one instrument or vocal part.
• Ability to read basic chord charts or sheet music.
• Active member or regular attendee of the church.
• Commitment to a lifestyle consistent with the church's statement of faith.
• Teachable spirit and willingness to receive musical and spiritual direction.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic knowledge of contemporary Christian worship music.
• Prior experience playing in a church or worship setting (preferred).
• Familiarity with in-ear monitor systems (preferred).
• Demonstrates humility, integrity, and servant leadership.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a heart for ministry.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A committed follower of Jesus Christ.
• Actively growing in faith and spiritual disciplines.
• Agreement with the mission, vision, and statement of faith of Harvest.
• Models Christ-like behavior in personal and professional life.

Schedule

Hours and schedule will vary based on the needs of the worship team and the church.
