Overview

The Chorus Operations Manager reports to the Director of Choral Studies and works closely with SFGC senior staff. This position oversees the day-to-day administrative operations of the San Francisco Girls Chorus and provides superior customer service to families and students.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee administrative operations of the San Francisco Girls Chorus
  • Provide superior customer service to families and students
  • Coordinate with senior staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle inquiries and requests from families and students
  • Manage schedules and logistics for rehearsals, performances, and events
  • Assist in event planning and execution
  • Support the Director of Choral Studies with administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in customer service or administrative support preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of choral music and/or youth education a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., music education, administration, etc.)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

Pay

$25.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule

Regular business hours with some evening and weekend hours required for rehearsals, performances, and events.
