About the role

Right At School Educator positions are available in various locations across the United States. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving parents peace of mind.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and other observations.
• Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
• Communicate effectively with a variety of audiences including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all children.
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager to discuss professional progress and team accountability.

Requirements

• Proof of High school diploma/GED required.
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements such as FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB, and Food Handlers Card.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Excellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Respect for and dedication to working with children with special needs.

Schedule

Monday through Friday split shift availability required. Estimated shifts include:

• Before School Shift: 6:30am-9am (Friday 6:30am-10:30am)
• After School Shift: 3pm-6pm

Pay

Pay Range: $20-$22 per hour (based on education and experience).
