Educator Pay Range: $21.57-$22.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday-Friday, split shift. Must be available all 5 days for one and/or both shifts each day:

  • Before School Shift: 6:30am-9am (Friday 6:30am-10:30am)
  • After School Shift: 3pm-6pm

Actual schedule will be based on the needs of the programs.

Responsibilities

  • Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents, and other observations
  • Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school-day learning in a meaningful way
  • Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children
  • Support homework completion, lead fun fitness activities, and guide children at play
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with varied audiences, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel
  • Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability

Requirements

  • Proof of High School diploma/GED
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements: FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB, and Food Handlers Card
  • 18+ years of age

Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Works well in a team environment
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
  • Excellent communication skills with varied audiences, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel
  • Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
  • Respect for and dedication to working with children with special needs
