Educator Pay Range: $21.57-$22.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday-Friday, split shift. Must be available all 5 days for one and/or both shifts each day:

Before School Shift: 6:30am-9am (Friday 6:30am-10:30am)
After School Shift: 3pm-6pm

Actual schedule will be based on the needs of the programs.

Responsibilities

Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents, and other observations
Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school-day learning in a meaningful way
Using your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children
Support homework completion, lead fun fitness activities, and guide children at play
Demonstrate excellent communication skills with varied audiences, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel
Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability

Requirements

Proof of High School diploma/GED
Ability to meet state-specific requirements: FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB, and Food Handlers Card
18+ years of age

Qualifications

Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
Works well in a team environment
At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
Ability to lift 25 lbs
Excellent communication skills with varied audiences, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel
Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
Respect for and dedication to working with children with special needs
