Right At School has been providing safe, fun, and meaningful extended day enrichment programs for more than a decade, serving more than 35,000 students in 17 states. Our programs give students a place to learn, play, grow, and be a kid through before school, after school, and break camp offerings.

About the role

Deliver quality enrichment programs for children using our internally crafted Disguised Learning curriculum. Develop and coach a team passionate about providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment. Work closely with principals and school staff to enhance the instructional experience. Instill the Right At School footprint by participating in local community events (Back to School, Right Club gives back, Field Day, and more). Manage and maintain safety standards including supervision and program paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of educators
  • Implement and oversee the Disguised Learning curriculum
  • Collaborate with school staff and principals to integrate programs seamlessly
  • Engage in community events to promote the program
  • Maintain safety standards, including supervision and documentation
  • Model professional standards for interactions with students, parents, staff, and the community

Requirements

  • 2 years of direct experience working with children under 13
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
  • 18+ years of age
  • Proof of High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 12 college credits from 100-level courses or above
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements (FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB, Proof of MMR, Food Handlers Card)
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn

  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field
  • Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills with adults and children

Pay

$23.00–$25.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, must be available all 5 days for both shifts
  • Before School Shift: 6:30 AM–9:10 AM (Wednesdays until 10:00 AM)
  • After School Shift: 2:40 PM–6:00 PM
