Part-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

About the role

Cambridge Village facility in Wilmington, NC, invites you to join our dynamic therapy team as a Part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Monday-Friday partial days preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in providing therapeutic services to residents
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
• Provide direct patient care including activities of daily living, mobility training, and adaptive equipment use
• Document progress notes and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
