About the role
Otterbein Lebanon SeniorLife Community in Lebanon, OH, invites you to join our dynamic therapy team as a Part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed therapists in providing occupational therapy services to residents.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate residents' functional abilities and develop treatment plans.
- Implement and modify treatment plans to meet individual resident needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all therapy sessions.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Experience working with older adults and individuals with disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Completion of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
- Current state certification as a COTA.
Skills
