Part Time Certified Medication Assistant

Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality senior housing and services in a compassionate, Christian environment. Serve in a caregiver role to deliver resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance in a 55-bed facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Administer prescribed medications within scope
• Record vital signs and care outcomes
• Support psycho-social well-being
• Provide housekeeping and recreational support
• Document care activities and communicate changes to nursing staff
• Encourage participation in wellness activities

Requirements

• Current CNA and CMA certifications required
• Prior clinical or long-term care experience preferred
• Must complete annual competency testing and continuing education
• Knowledge of age-appropriate care and proper transfer techniques essential
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain certifications
• Ability to perform delegated medical tasks responsibly
• Some states may require specific certifications or licenses

Schedule

• Part-time hours with evening shifts
• Weekend and holiday rotations
• Additional night and weekend differentials
