Gettysburg College is seeking dishwashers to work in the Dining Center.
About the role
Positions work a more regular schedule during the academic year, and sporadically during the summer months. These positions perform all necessary functions included with the washing and sanitizing of dishes, utensils, glasses, and pots and pans.
Schedule
- 15–20 hours per week
- Flexible shifts including nights and weekend hours
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glasses, and pots and pans
Requirements
- Able to read and understand simple instructions
- Work flexible schedules
Qualifications
Physical Requirements
- Frequent bending, lifting, and walking
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift at least 25 pounds
- Some contact with caustic cleaning chemicals
