Schedule

Part-Time, 4:00pm-7:30pm. Position works every other weekend & rotating holidays. Working approximately 14 hours bi-weekly - 4 days every 2 weeks.

Pay

The targeted pay range for this job is $16.00 to $19.00 per hour. Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots/pans using dishwasher or by hand.
• Properly operates the 3-compartment sink.
• Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean sanitized and orderly condition.
• Uses proper chemicals for all cleaning tasks.
• Uses proper PPE for chemical use.
• Performs opening and closing side work including sweeping and scrubbing floors, cleaning dish storage area and surrounding areas.
• Reports any sanitation or janitorial issues immediately to appropriate party.
• Assists to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times.
• Empties and cleans trash receptacles and places it in designated pickup areas.
• Partners effectively with others in a demanding and changing environment, supports all team members within the community as directed by the leadership team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Dishwashing/Commercial kitchen experience (preferred)
• Previous experience working with seniors (preferred)
