Part Time Cashier

Job Responsibilities

• Aid customers and maintain high service levels and courtesy from all associates
• Perform product scanning and process customer orders accurately, efficiently, and promptly
• Handle all forms of tender and coupons correctly
• Manage voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges accurately
• Answer customer questions or requests
• Assist with front-end maintenance and cleaning

Job Requirements

• Operate equipment such as scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Memorize, read, write, and perform basic math
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Make good judgments in situations where immediate supervision may not be available
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Work varied weekly shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 16 years of age and older
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs, walk on uneven ground, reach, bend, turn, and perform repetitive motions

Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
