Part Time Cashier

Cub Inver Grove Heights is seeking a dedicated part-time cashier to handle front-end checkout procedures, maintain positive customer relations, and process orders efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates
• Perform product scanning and processing of customer orders accurately and promptly
• Handle all forms of tender and coupons correctly
• Manage voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges accurately
• Assist with customer questions or requests
• Maintain front-end cleanliness and organization

Requirements

• Operate equipment such as scanners, registers, check approval machines, coupon machines, intercoms, and calculators
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Strong memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service with ongoing interaction
• Exercise good judgment, especially when direct supervision is not immediately available
• Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies verbally or in writing
• Work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 16 years of age

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, and repetitive motions

Schedule

• Evening shifts until 11:00 PM
