Part Time Cashier
Cashier
Cub Shorewood is seeking a part-time Cashier to join their team! Cashiers assist customers, ensuring proper service levels and courtesy, perform product scanning and order processing, handle various forms of payment, and address customer inquiries.
- Assist customers and maintain positive service levels
- Perform product scanning and order processing accurately and efficiently
- Handle all forms of tender and coupons correctly
- Avoid and resolve voids, returns, and exchanges
- Answer customer questions and requests
- Participate in front-end maintenance and cleaning
Requirements
- Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.)
- Able to stand for long periods
- Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
- On-going customer interaction and prompt, courteous, and accurate service
- Good judgment and ability to follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 16 years of age and older
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, walking on uneven ground, reaching, bending, turning, and performing repetitive motions
