Responsibilities
- Provides Family Consultation to families and/or caregivers served under the Autism Waiver program.
- Supervises and trains Instructors assigned to individual families.
- Develops and implements written Treatment Plans outlining services within thirty (30) days of the start of each specific treatment.
- Turns Treatment Plans into the Director of Autism Waiver Program on or before the thirty (30) day start of the treatment.
- Develops and implements goals based on Trellis Services Curriculum.
- Maintains and monitors goals based on benchmarked due dates through data collection and provides reports based on goals against benchmarked due dates.
- Develops monthly work schedules for each instructor(s) hours prior to the start of the Treatment Plan and maintains schedule.
- Approves all instructors' work hours and ensures accurate reporting of such hours by the required due date.
- Available in person or by direct phone contact for crisis intervention to all instructors.
- Understands, follows, and implements all "Procedures for Crisis Situations" as outlined in the Procedure Manual and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
- Holds at minimum one monthly meeting with instructors and families in a collaborative team meeting.
- Maintains consistent and prompt communications with instructors, families, and Trellis Services administrative staff.
- Accurately records and inputs time sheet entries into Trellis' database by the required deadline date(s).
- Communicates any concerns, questions, or other matters immediately with appropriate administrative staff and parents.
- Fosters and maintains positive relationships between Trellis, reporting staff, and clients as well as surrounding communities.
- Maintains "Confidential Clinical File" with accurate session notes, time sheets, calendars, and reports. Signs and adheres to "File Confidentiality Agreement."
Requirements
- Must be a certified Special Educator or have a Master’s Degree in Special Education and/or a related field with 5 years experience with Autism.
- Ability to work in a home environment independently.
- Proof of current auto insurance, valid unexpired driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Competitive hourly rate of $50.00 an hour.
- Pre-employment criminal background check required.
