Responsibilities

  • Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm over the phone and in person.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, adapting style to suit customers using all systems to manage customer flow.
  • Use iPad tools to research and enthusiastically communicate information to the customer.
  • Manage customer appointments, prepare fitting rooms, and build relationships with customers.
  • Identify the perfect gown/dress in the customer’s first three try-ons and ensure proper measurements are taken.
  • Partner with Alterations Specialists to set up appointments for personalization and fittings.
  • Achieve 80% conversion of brides to Alterations appointments and ensure minimal returns and exchanges.
  • Offer David’s Bridal loyalty & partners program to support and promote one-stop shopping for all life events.
  • Respond promptly to customer questions and provide product and service information.
  • Maintain store standards, including a clean and organized environment, and report any broken or damaged equipment to management.
  • Follow David’s Bridal hourly sales productivity standards by utilizing the 5-Step Selling Process.
  • Support cash wrap behaviors and processes with accuracy to ensure every customer feels celebrated.
  • Complete required training and strive to become a Circle of Excellence member by exceeding sales targets.
  • Execute new processes, behaviors, contests, and programs as assigned.
  • Accurately clock in and out for all scheduled shifts, breaks, and meals.
  • Follow all loss prevention, security processes, and policies.
  • Complete myLearning courses within the first 90 days and remain current with myLearning Curriculum Competencies.
  • Share sales expertise and product knowledge with fellow stylists.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior retail experience in an apparel, service, or specialty store environment, and prior experience with computerized POS system is preferred.

The standard base pay range for this role is posted at a minimum and maximum rate. The starting rate of pay offered will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, training, and/or experience, and internal equity.
