About the role

The Part Time Branch Ambassador at Capital One is a key position that combines elements of hospitality, digital expertise, and customer service. This role requires a combination of technical skills and interpersonal abilities to provide exceptional service and support to customers.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with all security, audit, BSA/AML, and federal regulatory standards.
• Educate clients on the use of mobile banking, remote deposit capture, and contactless payment methods.
• Identify and address customer needs, recommending appropriate digital tools or banking solutions.
• Greet and assist customers, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
• Support other branches within a 50-mile radius as needed.
• Work flexible schedules, including weekends.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
• An Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of retail or customer-facing experience.
• Proficiency in G-Suite.

Pay

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

• Queens Village, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador.
