Part Time Beverage Server

Job Summary

Calder Casino is a fun place to work! We are devoted to creating Winning Experiences for our teammates, guests, and partners. We're looking for a Beverage Server to join our team. We are searching for a friendly and energetic individual who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Taking orders from patrons and returning these orders in a timely manner.
• Keeping area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Responsible to perform “responsible alcohol service” with regards to patron limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training.
• Using all bar equipment, cash registers, and Berg Beverage System.
• Ensuring the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Able to lift 1-50 pounds.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Abilities

• Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations.

Education And Experience

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent and six months work experience in cocktail serving is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• May be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Subjected to circulate throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
