About the role
Mentor South Bay provides Early Intervention, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Behavioral Health and Mental Health Outpatient services across Massachusetts and Connecticut. For over 35 years, we've provided a collaborative, team-based approach dedicated to helping children, adults, and families reach their fullest potential.
Responsibilities
- Consult with team members to implement individualized services for assigned clients
- Conduct visits with clients and relevant collaterals in natural environments according to the needs of the child and family
- Maintain client records completely and accurately to include: Documentation of forms and regulations regarding intake and discharge of clients
- Complete billing documentation according to the schedule established by the clinic
- Adhere to professional standards and guidelines according to respective disciplines and relevant certification
- Maintain daily contact with the program during normal business hours
- Keep the supervisor informed of the progress of all clients
- Meet performance expectations based on part-time or full-time status, as designated
- Adhere to provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 119, Section 51A (Mandated Reporter); report all occurrences immediately to the program director
- Adhere to clinical recommendations from the clinical administration
- Maintain confidentiality in all clinical matters
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and in-service training as required
- Participate in program development and team goals
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree required
- Required experience in a related field
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly
- A good listener with an ability to empathize while still providing guidance
