Part-Time Behavior Technician

About the role

A free, public charter school located in North Ogden, Utah, is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician.

Responsibilities

• Working on specific, measurable goals with students in both one-on-one and group settings
• Collecting data based on target skill areas
• Working as a contributing and collaborative member of our special education team

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• A high school diploma
• Possession of RBT certification (preference given to candidates with this certification)

Qualifications

• Understanding of learning styles for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and other behavior disorders

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Knowledge of Montessori philosophy and research-based best practices
