About the role

A Café Barista prepares and serves high-quality coffee and espresso drinks in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks
• Provide friendly, professional, and fast customer service
• Build rapport with customers and create a welcoming environment
• Maintain a well-stocked and neatly displayed café space
• Operate POS systems, brewing equipment, and handle transactions
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas and tools
• Assist with inventory and adhere to safety and health standards
• Engage with customers, make recommendations, and foster relationships

Requirements

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting
• Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work weekends
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
• Willingness to obtain a food handler’s certification if required

Pay

Approximate pay range of $16.50–$18.00 per hour, with final compensation based on experience and location.
