Part Time - Barista

Role Overview: This position involves preparing coffee shop beverages and food items, operating cash registers, and providing courteous customer service. The role requires maintaining a clean and safe environment, stocking and rotating merchandise, and understanding store programs and product locations. Key Responsibilities Prepare beverages and food according to set standards and procedures.Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle transactions accurately.Ensure food safety, sanitation, and compliance with safety guidelines.Maintain stock levels, rotate items, and keep displays organized.Communicate store programs, specials, and coupons to customers.Assist with department cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.Provide high-quality customer service and model positive interactions.Follow all safety, PPE, and food handling protocols.Assist in other departments as needed and perform additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED preferred.Experience in retail or customer service is a plus.Strong verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied environments.
