Part Time - Barista

About the role

This position involves preparing coffee shop beverages and food items, operating the cash register, and providing courteous customer service. The role includes stocking and rotating merchandise, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages and food following established procedures.
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle transactions securely.
• Maintain stock levels, organize displays, and ensure product availability.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and food safety guidelines.
• Communicate store programs, specials, and promotions to customers.
• Assist with tasks in other departments as needed.
• Follow all safety, PPE, and guest experience standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work in varied environments with exposure to outside weather and noise.
