Part-Time Bakery/Deli Clerk

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by preparing bakery and deli items, offering samples, and informing customers about specials.
• Ensure products are fresh, properly portioned, labeled, and inventoried.
• Operate bakery equipment safely, follow food safety and temperature guidelines, and maintain a clean environment.
• Assist customers with product location, respond to inquiries, and suggest items.
• Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies, and adhere to safety procedures.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere, promote trust among staff, and support a high-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Ability to obtain a food handler’s permit.
• Previous retail, bakery, or deli experience is preferred.
• Ability to work cooperatively, handle stress, and act with integrity is essential.
