Part Time Baker

About the role

Cub Rosemount is seeking a dedicated individual for a part‑time baker position. Bakers at Cub prepare, bake, and fry a variety of products and finish them with frosting, glaze, or icing according to item standards to ensure quality and consistency. The role blends craftsmanship with customer service to deliver visually appealing and delicious baked goods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and fry products.
• Finish baked or fried items with frosting, glaze, icing, etc.
• Assist in wrapping or bagging product.
• Rotate and stock finished product to fill product gaps.
• Assist customers with questions or requests.

Requirements

• Operate equipment such as donut sticks, hopper, fryer, screens, icing warmer, spatula, knives, etc.
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency in memorization, reading, writing, and basic math.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service.
• Good judgment; capable of working with limited supervision.
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; document identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Flexibility to work varying shift lengths and times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lb.
• Pushing/pulling up to 300 lb.
• Walking on uneven ground.
• Reaching, bending, and repetitive motions.

Schedule

Varied weekly shifts starting at 5:00 am. Weekends are required, and shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
