About the role

We are seeking a responsible and child-friendly babysitter to assist with after-school care for our two children, a 5-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl, in New York, NY. The position involves picking up the children from school between 2:45 PM and 4:00 PM and engaging with them at the library or at our home until 5:00 PM. The job requires someone who is comfortable with driving and interacting with our friendly pets, as we have two medium-sized beagle mixes.

Responsibilities

• Pick up children from school between 2:45 PM and 4:00 PM

• Drive safely while transporting the children
• Interact with and care for two medium‑sized beagle mixes

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual
• Good with children of ages 5 and 2
• Comfortable driving and holding a valid driver’s license
• Enjoy being around dogs and able to handle two beagle mixes
