Part-Time Babysitter for School-Age Children

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and creative babysitter for our 5-year-old child, 8-year-old girl, and 10-year-old boy in Newark, NJ.

Schedule

This position requires care three days a week, with flexible days, as long as the applicant can commit to the schedule. Shifts are from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM, starting Monday, August 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Engage the children in outdoor activities
• Feed the children during the shift

Requirements

• Must have your own means of transportation
• Must be comfortable around pets (a 40lb doodle is occasionally present)
• Creative and able to effectively entertain school-age children

Note: This role does not require driving, bathing, or putting the kids to bed.
