Part-time Baby U/Preschool U Assistant Teacher

About the role

The Baby U/ Preschool U Assistant Teacher is a part-time, non-exempt position in the Youth Department and reports to the Youth Services Assistant Manager. The primary purpose of the position is to provide a safe environment for children participating in the program. The primary responsibility is to provide a safe, positive and enjoyable environment for participants while interacting in a pleasant and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, positive and enjoyable environment for participants
• Interact in a pleasant and professional manner
• Work Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Available for AM (7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.), PM (12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.) shifts or some full-day shift options
• Occasional evenings and weekends may be required for events/training

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age

• High School Education

Pay

Hourly Pay/Salary Range: $12/hr. - $18/hr.

Schedule

Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with schedule availability either for AM (7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.), PM (12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.) shifts or some full-day shift options available. Some evenings and occasional weekends may be required for events/training.
