Part-Time Preschool Teacher Assistant

About the role

Position Type: Student Support Services/Preschool Teacher Assistant. Location: Edison Elementary School.

Schedule

7.5 hours per day, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (includes a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break).

Pay

Pay range: $16.95 – $17.40 per hour.

Requirements

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, OR
• Associate’s Degree with at least 12 semester hours in early childhood and/or education courses, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 12 semester hours in early childhood and/or education courses.
• Ability to become CPR/First Aid certified (training will be provided and paid for by the District HR Department).

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with young people in an education setting.
