About the Role
Kenyon College invites applications for a Part-Time Assistant Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach to support the NCAA D-III program in compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies. Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coaches of the men’s and women’s teams in all aspects, as needed.
- Represent Kenyon College positively and enthusiastically at all times.
- Teach the fundamentals of tennis, complementing the head coaches’ instruction.
- Serve as a collaborative member of the Athletics, Fitness, and Recreation team, contributing to program implementation on a residential campus.
- Develop and maintain supportive relationships with student affairs colleagues, faculty, and campus partners.
- Comply with College, Department of Athletics, NCAC, and NCAA policies, including the student-athlete handbook and mission statements.

Working Conditions
- Some heavy lifting and equipment moving required.
- Non-traditional schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, college breaks, and summers.
- Travel required for athletic contests, recruiting, coaches meetings, and conventions.
- Ability to obtain College driver certification is necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Demonstrated experience instructing on the rules and fundamentals of tennis.
- Collegiate playing experience.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (can be completed after hire).
