Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of athletes on and off the court.
• Foster a community of healthy competition and sportsmanship among athletes.
• Implement effective and engaging practice sessions.
• Assist with team management and logistics.
• Maintain open communication with athletes, coaches, and staff.
• Assist the head coach in running a successful varsity program that competes as a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II program and as a member of the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA).
• Recruit student-athletes, provide practice and competition coaching, and implement competitive strategies while advising and mentoring student-athletes.
• Understand and promote the mission, goals, values and educational ideals of Oxford College of Emory University.

Qualifications

• Availability for nights and weekends, August through May.
