About the role

As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 at Tanger Outlet Center Westgate, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the store leadership team in providing exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities include training new recruits, managing the sales floor, processing sales transactions, and assisting with store operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty
• Step in and support the sales floor when needed
• Open and close the store as needed
• Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales using benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Communicate with the store manager about shortages or overages
• Avoid misuse of spells and maintain a tidy store environment
• Help organize the stock room and keep the store clean
• Develop and retain a collaborative team to manage the store
• Perform other tasks as assigned by your Store Manager

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail store experience
• Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
• Avenger-like skills: communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and a drive to develop team members
• Age 18 or older
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to navigate the store, use store equipment, and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
