Responsibilities
- Greets participants entering the facility.
- Completes drug screens and breath analysis as assigned.
- Completes initial intake process with participants, including paperwork and assignment of groups and other services.
- Provides general office administration duties such as answering phones and providing customer service.
- Affords assistance to Case Managers with case coordination, communication with agencies, and report preparation.
- Assists in managing a participant caseload using evidence-based practices.
- Conducts risk/need assessments and creates individual treatment plans.
- Maintains regular meetings with participants and documents their progress in the company database.
- Facilitates evidence-based CBT programs and other life skills programs in groups.
- Documents participants' attendance, participation, and progress in the company database.
- Files, prepares charts, and performs data entry as assigned.
- Performs office opening and closing procedures.
- May install and remove electronic monitoring equipment and forward documentation.
- May clean electronic home monitoring equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College coursework in Human Services or business discipline preferred.
- Minimum of six (6) months experience in Human Services field with direct participant services preferred.
- Minimum of six (6) months experience working with minority populations preferred.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age with at least five (5) years driving experience if required to transport participants.
- Valid state driver’s license and a five (5) year record of safe and competent driving as demonstrated by state motor vehicle report if required to transport participants.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle if required to transport participants.
- Good customer service skills.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external contacts at all levels.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Solid computer skills and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
- Basic database skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills may be required.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
