About the role

The Cargo Warehouse Agent is responsible for marshaling aircraft, operating ground service equipment (GSE), loading and unloading cargo, transporting freight between warehouse and aircraft, and handling build-up/breakdown of cargo to ensure on-time departures.

Responsibilities

• Marshal in and push back aircraft
• Operate ground equipment (K-loaders, tugs, belt loaders, forklifts)
• Load and unload air cargo from/to aircraft and trucks
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed
• Verify accuracy of cargo paperwork
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of cargo
• Perform routine cleaning of facilities, work areas, and ramp
• Maintain ramp safety and equipment upkeep
• Follow all safety regulations, including proper use of ground equipment
• Communicate using a two-way radio
• Perform related duties as assigned, including aircraft interior cleaning

Physical Demands

• Work in a high-pressure environment
• Lift and carry a 50-pound box from floor to 18 inches and carry it up to 25 feet
• Perform repetitive tasks involving bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, and twisting
• Sustain physical positions for extended periods
• Sufficient vision to safely perform essential functions

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts
• Ability to work in inclement weather
• Pass a background check and drug test
• Attend and complete required training
• Read and write English proficiently

Pay
