FT Air Cargo Warehouse Agent KPIT **HIRING EVENT**

About the role

We are seeking an Air Cargo Agent to join our team for our overnight shift from 10PM to 6AM. The position offers various full-time positions/shifts available, including medical, vision, dental, and life insurance, paid time off, and paid training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft and ground service equipment (GSE) in a safe condition.
• Load and unload cargo on and off aircraft, and transport cargo between the warehouse and aircraft.
• Receive, deliver, and physically handle freight and company materials at the warehouse.
• Perform build-up and breakdown of cargo within required timeframes and ensure on-time departures of aircraft and trucks.
• Operate ground equipment such as K-loaders, tugs, belt loaders, and forklifts.
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed.
• Ensure paperwork related to the cargo is correct and properly handled.
• Perform routine cleaning of facilities, work areas, and ramp.
• Ensure ramp areas are safe and free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and that all ground equipment is properly maintained.
• Communicate using a two-way radio.
• Follow safety regulations and wear appropriate safety items.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Able to communicate using a two-way radio.
• Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Must be able to carry a 50-pound box from the floor to 18 inches and carry it in front of you with both hands for a distance of up to 25 feet.
• Must have physical dexterity sufficient to perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending at the waist and knees, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, and sustaining those positions for extended periods.
• Must have sufficient vision and the ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work flexible working hours and in inclement weather.
• Pass background check and drug test.
