Air Cargo Warehouse Agent

About the role

We are expanding into Las Vegas and are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our high-energy, fast-paced Las Vegas Air Cargo Warehouse team at the Las Vegas International Airport.

Responsibilities

• Marshaling in and pushing back the aircraft
• Operating ground service equipment (GSE)
• Loading and unloading cargo on and off aircraft
• Transporting cargo between warehouse and aircraft
• Receiving, delivering, and physical handling freight and company material at the warehouse
• Performing build-up and breakdown of cargo in a safe manner within required timeframes
• Completing paperwork needed to get the job done, ensuring on-time departures of aircraft and trucks
• Performing related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates, including cleaning and servicing of the aircraft interior
• Operating ground equipment, including K-loaders, tugs, belt loaders, and forklifts
• Loading/unloading air cargo from/to trucks
• Packaging cargo as needed
• Ensuring paperwork related to the cargo is correct
• Absolutely ensuring proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment
• Performing routine cleaning of facilities, work areas, and ramp
• Absolutely ensuring ramp areas are safe and free of FOD and that all ground equipment is properly maintained
• Following safety regulations which include the proper use of ground equipment and wearing proper safety items
• Able to communicate using a two-way radio
• Completing all required training
• Reporting any safety hazard or incident immediately

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work flexible working hours
• Ability to work in inclement weather
• Pass background check
• Attend and successfully complete required training
• Read and write English
