About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The role involves driving the mission through daily program meetings, organizing and facilitating daily activities, leading by example, prioritizing safety and joy, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability each day.
• Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Organize and lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum, making sure they are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals.
• Monitor the environment, address potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including documenting attendance, incidents, and other observations.
• Communicate effectively with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements
• First Aid and CPR-in-person (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
• Cleared tuberculosis test (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
• Proof of MMR (documentation can be provided)
• 18+ years of age
• Proof of High School diploma/GED required

Pay

$15.00-$17.00 per hour (based on education & experience)
