About the role

Educator Right At School provides local school districts with before and after-school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The role involves building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

  • Provide before and after-school care for students
  • Engage in disguised learning activities and daily enrichment

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age with a High School diploma/GED
  • Background clearance completion required
  • At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare group-type setting
  • Ideal candidates will have outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills, works well in a team environment, and has flexibility to support additional local programs

Qualifications

  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements
  • First Aid and CPR-in-person (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
  • Cleared tuberculosis test (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
  • Proof of MMR (ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
  • 18+ years of age
  • Proof of a high school diploma/GED required

Skills

  • Communication skills: oral, written, and visual with adults and children
  • Model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn

Pay and Schedule

$15-$17 per hour depending on years of experience working with kids in a group setting
Monday through Friday (must be able to work Monday through Friday)
3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
