Part Time After School Educator (Katy Area)

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy your summer and secure a position for the fall before summer begins! Right At School is currently hiring for the 2026-2027 school year beginning in August 2026.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Must be able to work from Monday through Friday. (schedules may vary slightly)
• - Leonard Elementary- (AM/PM split-shift) 6:15 am- 8:20 am and return 3:15 pm-6:30 pm
• - Mitzi Cross-(AM/PM split-shift) 6:15 am- 8:20 am and return 3:15 pm-6:30 pm
• - Winborn Elementary- (PM only) 2:45 pm-6:30 pm
• - Mortan Ranch Elementary- (AM/PM split-shift) - 6:15 am -7:50 am and return 3:00 pm-6:30 pm
• - Ursula Stephens Elementary- (AM/PM split-shift) 6:15 am- 8:20 am and return 3:15 pm-6:30 pm

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 18 years of age or older
• One year of verifiable previous experience in childcare in a licensed group childcare setting
• Full availability Monday through Friday at the scheduled time listed above is required

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
• Works well in a team environment
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed

Pay

Pay Range: ($15-$17) per hour (based on education and experience)
