Part Time Advanced Practice Faculty

About the role

The School of Nursing at the MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications and nominations for a Part time 20 hour per week Advanced Practice faculty position. Successful board certified AGPCNP or FNP candidates will have the opportunity to teach their area of expertise in our on-campus Master of Science in Nursing program.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates will be eligible for licensure in Massachusetts and hold at least one graduate degree in nursing in the area of specialization required (Adult Gerontology PRIMARY Care Nurse Practitioner or Family PRIMARY Care Nurse Practitioner), for the faculty appointment; a doctorate in nursing or a related discipline is preferred.
• Current certification as a AGPCNP or FNP (either AACN or ANCC) is required for the advanced practice program.
• Candidates must possess a commitment to scholarship appropriate with rank and must demonstrate excellent technological, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.

The IHP is committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation that reflects each faculty member’s experience, expertise, responsibilities, and performance. The expected base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $145,000, based on faculty rank (Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor), qualifications, and discipline. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors such as academic and clinical experience, teaching responsibilities, education, licensure, specialty, training, market, and internal equity.

Pay

The expected base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $145,000, based on faculty rank (Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor), qualifications, and discipline. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors such as academic and clinical experience, teaching responsibilities, education, licensure, specialty, training, market, and internal equity.
