Job Goal
The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the school's operations. This position serves as a welcoming first point of contact for families and visitors, ensuring smooth office operations. This role blends hospitality, organization, and accuracy.
Performance Responsibilities
- Office point of contact for students, parents, and staff
- Partner with leadership to ensure a positive experience for families
- Assist with marketing materials, social media updates, and communications
- Work in the front office, including answering phones, greeting guests, and handling student needs
- Aid families upon arrival with friendly and accurate information
- Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Must have a strong commitment to Catholic education and model behavior in accordance with St. Thecla's mission and vision.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of a school
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
- Experience with databases or student information systems preferred, such as FACTS, etc.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and confidential with sensitive information
Work Schedule
Part-time hourly position. Monday through Friday during the school day
