Job Goal

The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the school's operations. This position serves as a welcoming first point of contact for families and visitors, ensuring smooth office operations. This role blends hospitality, organization, and accuracy.

Performance Responsibilities

  • Office point of contact for students, parents, and staff
  • Partner with leadership to ensure a positive experience for families
  • Assist with marketing materials, social media updates, and communications
  • Work in the front office, including answering phones, greeting guests, and handling student needs
  • Aid families upon arrival with friendly and accurate information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have a strong commitment to Catholic education and model behavior in accordance with St. Thecla's mission and vision.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of a school
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
  • Experience with databases or student information systems preferred, such as FACTS, etc.
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and confidential with sensitive information

Work Schedule

Part-time hourly position. Monday through Friday during the school day
