Part-Time Adjunct Faculty – Advanced Manufacturing Technology

Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is looking for experienced manufacturing and engineering professionals to join our team as Part-Time Adjunct Faculty at our Newark campus. If you have experience in manufacturing, robotics, automation, machining, engineering, or industrial maintenance, this is an opportunity to bring your real-world knowledge into the classroom and help prepare students for successful careers in advanced manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Bring real-world knowledge into the classroom to help prepare students for careers in advanced manufacturing.
• Teach and mentor students in areas such as FANUC robotics, AutoCAD and Inventor, CNC and manual machining, precision assembly, automation, and multi-craft maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or closely related field.
• In some cases, an associate degree combined with significant relevant industry experience, certifications, or demonstrated technical expertise may be considered.
• Reside in Ohio.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to helping students learn and succeed.
• Experience training, mentoring, or developing others in the workplace is valuable.
• Previous college teaching experience is welcome but not required.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
