About the Role
Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care. Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and ensure safety in a high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a 38-bed acute care unit
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including case managers, social workers, and specialists
- Support professional growth and career advancement through a structured career ladder
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, healing environment aligned with quality standards
Requirements
- RN license required
- Nursing diploma or associate's degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
- No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years experience preferred for higher qualification
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety consciousness
