Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse - Part Time Nights

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
• Participates in patient safety initiatives, quality improvement, and professional development activities.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with collaborative input, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement.

Requirements

• Active RN license required.
• Nursing diploma or associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No prior experience needed; less than two years of experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
