Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse - Part Time Nights

About the role

Join a dedicated nursing team in an acute care setting providing comprehensive patient care for a diverse range of clinical conditions. An interdisciplinary team supports patient care, including case managers, social workers, and specialists.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree as minimum education.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and two years of experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with constant alertness.

Schedule

Part-time night shifts with 12-hour shifts and shift differentials.
