Part-Time Acute Care Physical Therapist

We are seeking a Full-Time Acute Care Physical Therapist to assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs that enhance mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformities in patients with injuries or diseases. Key responsibilities include collaborating with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, setting realistic goals with patients and families, and providing ongoing education, discharge instructions, and referrals. Documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress is essential, following departmental guidelines. Qualifications include a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and current licensure as a Physical Therapist. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Skills needed are effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer proficiency. Additional duties encompass maintaining ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, proper attire, and participating in staff meetings and professional development activities.
