Physical Therapist - Acute Care (Part-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a licensed physical therapist to evaluate, plan, and deliver patient care in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Providing therapy evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing evidence-based interventions, and managing discharge planning for a full caseload.
• Handling administrative duties such as documentation, billing, scheduling, and supporting ancillary tasks.
• Communicating effectively, demonstrating professionalism, supervising support staff, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize clinical and financial outcomes.
• Working closely with leadership and referring physicians to ensure cohesive patient care, and complying with organizational policies and ethical standards.
• Serving as a clinical instructor, participating in departmental committees, and pursuing credentialing or certifications to enhance patient care.
• In inpatient settings: coordinating and delivering durable medical equipment and supporting smooth care transitions.
• Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the state of practice.

Schedule

• Part-time role with a 0.6 FTE, working three weekday shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional weekend, holiday, and flex shifts.
• No call obligation, with potential remote/hybrid options.

Pay

• Compensation ranges from $38.22 to $57.33 per hour.
