About the role

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of student accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Handle accounts receivable transactions including billing, collections, and reconciliation.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with students regarding account balances and payment options.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work (approx. 1-2 nights/week and 1-2 Saturdays in January and August).

Requirements

  • Experience with accounts receivable.
  • Familiarity with office administration and procedures.
  • Experience with general bookkeeping procedures.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles.
  • Proficient in relevant computer software.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • 1-3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience.
