Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, purchase orders, expense reimbursements, and other payment-related documents with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Review completed transactions, confirm accounting entries, and compare financial records against system-generated reports to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized accounts payable files and preserve supporting documentation for audit readiness and historical reference.
  • Cook up employee expense payments by checking submitted reports and preparing payments in accordance with company procedures.
  • Manage vendor payments by arranging disbursements, monitoring outstanding balances, and responding to questions related to billing and payment status.
  • Prepare account analyses and assist with recurring monthly reporting to support financial visibility and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen and streamline payment workflows while maintaining compliance and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting accounts payable functions in a detail-focused business environment.
  • Working knowledge of invoice processing, payment tracking, account reconciliation, and record maintenance.
  • Ability to review financial details carefully and detect errors or inconsistencies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems, spreadsheets, and standard office software.
  • Background in handling vendor inquiries and resolving payment-related issues effectively.
